So I am having some second thoughts about my plan on buying http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236293
I have recently been seeing people talking about how 27" monitor doesn't work well at 1080p and they are saying that it looks better at 24".
Currently, I am using a 32" at a low resolution of 1360x768 and have absolutely no problem with it for I mostly have gotten use to it. (Though I want an upgrade on my monitor for my new rig)
I want a 1080p because my sisters monitor is one and it seems like it has more space to it.
I didn't really want to go 1440p because it would require more of my GPU. I'm content at 1080p.
People say that 27" looks weird or doesn't fill the space enough on 1080p to the point that it doesn't look sharp and that 24" below are better at 1080p / 27"+ at 1440p+.
Any confirmations or opinions?
Others also says that at a farther distance, you will hardly notice the difference or even not at all on 27" @1080p.
They say that 4-5 feet away from the monitor and it should be fine.
Any confirmations or opinions?
Some also says that at 120-144hz~, even at a close distance, you won't even notice it at all.
Any confirmations or opinions?
Right now, I sit about 3-3 1/2 feet away from my 32" monitor. When I buy the 27" 144hz 1080p monitor (See the link above) I can and will put it a little back further and should be around 4-5 feet away from me for I have a 2 desk. (1 for mouse/keyboard/personal stuff and another desk for just the monitor itself)
So, what is it really?
Right now I feel like I have to go for the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313 but I really want a 27" without having any issues.
I just need a good opinion/input to strengthen my original plan on going for the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236293
Also, I am going to purchase 2 monitor of the same size/pixel (Because OCD for the lol) but at a normal refresh rate (60hz).
Also, any other recommendations aside from the Asus monitors?
Sorry if the thread is too long and thank you for reading!
