I have saved up a long time and now have $2000. I would like to get a completely new gaming setup and have nothing exept an OS. I have pretty much gotten my PC picked out but still need the keyboard, mouse, headset, a monitor and a desk. For the monitor I would like 3ms or less responce time. The mouse I would like atleast 3000 dpi. I have never used a mechanichal keyboard however from my research I think I would like a brown switch. Besides that I am not really sure what else to get expept the desk. Here is my current build

Looks good to go man, can't help with the furniture (do you have a chair at least?)

However I can help with the peripherals:

headsets: Razer Tiamat 7.1, Steelseries Siberia V2, Logitech G930 pick 1
Tiamat 7.1 is the best for a budget.

Mice: Steelseries Sensei/ Xai, CM Storm/ Spawn, The Roccat Koni XTD would be my recommendation but due to budget (you still need a monitor) I'd say look at the Koni Pure instead, Logitech G700 might be a good bet also. Then the Razer brand is also out due to budget saving (no need to waste money now you can buy that Naga epic later)

For Keyboards I suggest getting Thermaltake look at the Tt eSports website and pick 1 that suits your needs it's really hard to just recommend a keyboard to someone you can really just give personal opinion on those (that's how I see it anyway), another good brand is also Corsair (again might be pricey).

Finally the monitor well you have a large selection, do I go with Dell, Asus? (the answer is no they are overpriced )

The brands you want to look at are Samsung, LG, NEC, AOC, HP

I recommend the HP Pavilion 27xi for you though, decent price and looks way fancy. Or even the Samsung S24C650 just saw it had a price drop so the price is nearly $100 lower than the HP but it looks fairly average

Take the monitor into the budget first then work around the mouse, keyboard and desk. Finally pick the headset if your budget is tight I can even recommend a Genius Cavimanus GX it's only like $59.99 for a digital 7.1 headset and the sound is pretty impressive for the price I have one myself just to test genius out. My first genius product ever (have used Genius at work but never at home)

Anything else let me know man
