Hi,

I was wondering, what kind of cooling should I choose for a graphics card? I intend to do SLI, but I'm not sure what cooling method is most effective for this type of build. I want to buy 2 EVGA Geforce GTX 770, if this information can help.

Thank you in advance!

Usually the "impeller" (fans) that you see on non-reference design cards are much better at cooling than the typical "blower" (turbine) cooling on reference cards. Impellers cool by pushing the air into the case while blowers blow the air to the outside of the case.

For a single card setup it's almost always better to get an impeller design. However, for SLI it is often better to use reference "blower" designs as the impellers often end up dumping hot air on top of the bottom GPU.
