Performance boost or not?

I have a C2D 8400 OC 4 GHz with 470 GHz. Do I still gain performance increase by upgrading my graphic card?

Yes you will in games that are GPU intensive.

Unless you have money to do CPU/mobo/ram then I would go with the GPU.
