Hi Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Are there different sizes on ram sticks. Because i have a computer DDR2 4gb ram. and upgrading to ddr3 8gb ram. dont worry i am buying a new mobo. So i just wanted to know if they're are different sizes.
Thanks,

Solution
You current RAM is a DDR2 and it will be compatible on a motherboard with DDR2 slots.
You need a motherboard that has DDR3 slots in order for you to put your DDR3 RAM.
DDR3 is not backward compatible with DDR2 and DDR and will not work on any other slot other than DDR3.

I hope this is clear.
