I currently run a Nvidia 550 ti 2GB DDR5 card / 700W corsair power supply / 8GB DDR3 ram / Intel CORE 2 DUO E8400 (6M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB) / Asus MOBO / 1Gbit LAN.
I need a new cpu (price range from 50-190) if you could a list of cpus to choose from would be nice!

That's a 775 socket. You are near or at the top end of the dual cores. You'll need a core 2 quad. A Q6600 can be had for around $60. But you really need to consider upgrading your motherboard and CPU to a 1155 socket.

Your best options are:

FX-6300, FX-8350, i5-3350P, and maybe even the i3-4330 since it is about as strong as the i5-2300.
