I recently purchased a 760 gtx evga, and sadly it wasn't working correctly, so I just RMA for a full refund. After i sent it back, i put my evga gtx 650ti back into my computer and everything was working correctly, up to a few days ago. While playing games, (Mostly GW2) my screen would freeze or black screen return and would say fail display driver, and has recovered, but most of the time I would have to restart. My temps at max load were reaching about 75-80c max load, which was odd because i usually never hit 60c before. So i did some looking around and decided I would purchase another psu, thought maybe my psu was going bad wasn't getting enough power. That didn't work. So I borrowed a friends old gpu, radeon hd 6850 to test things. The card max load was running at 65c which was a lot better than before. Thought maybe it was just the card, but then my cpu fan started acting up, and started to reach rpms of 6000, which before never got to 3400 max load, with cool temps. So what I'm trying to ask is if anyone has any idea what is going on. I was thinking maybe the motherboard, 990FXA-UD3 was acting up, because i was checking temps and and voltage, my +12v was only running around 8v, but i was told that the computer wouldn't even function correctly. I just don't know what to do at this point, any help would be appreciated.

It is hard to say but you have changed PSU and tried multiple GPU's, could very well be the Board and actually lately I have seen strange issues with that exact board here.

i wonder what software the graphics drivers install now for that voltage control stuff that's on the cards? try resetting cmos and see what happens. wonder if the pci-e voltages got "played" with somehow?
