I have a new win7 64 bit pc, trying to connect to my work pc (win 7 64 bit also) via the VPN my IT dept gave me (64 bit VPN). connecting the VPN works flawless, but setting up RDP (using mstsc /span for dual monitors) absolutely will not work. It seems there ia a problem with my credential...(but there isnt) IT dept at work is no help, I've tried everything they told me to no avail. I connected for years from home using win xp...what is missing form win7?? what can I do to get rdp working...very frustrating....Thaks for any help!!

A coworker of mine does exactly that.
VPN into the network, then RDP into the box on his desk at work. Windows 7 at both ends.
There is no reason why it can't be made to work, other than some local network policy. Is RDP enabled on your box at the office?
