I am not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I have no idea who to ask at this point. My Panasonic Viera used to connect to my Windows 8 DLNA server just fine. But then I had to reinstall OS, and now trying to set it up, my TV still sees the server, I can click into it, I can select various options like Music and see music files, however, it can't see the Video folder I created. When I click into videos > folders > file location it says 'Can't Connect to Server'. I have tried putting videos in other folders and then adding those to my Media Libraries, but still no luck.

I'm not really sure how to pinpoint what exactly is wrong. The one thing that might be causing the problem is that when I reinstalled my OS, I created my homegroup password to be the exact same as it was before so all other computers could connect to me automatically.

Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.

When you say you created your homegroup, did you create a new one or rejoin the existing homegroup? All you have to do is get the password from another system and the join the existing homegroup as it will see it. Then enter the password and it should share like it did before.

That may be your issue.

Actually I just joined the existing home group that was already set up. However, while messing around with it last night, I decided to try and add a pictures folder to my Windows Media Library and see if my TV could access that, which it could. But in the process of WMP updating the picture library, the video library must have updated or something like that because it's working now. Thanks for your help!
