How Do I Fix IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error

I had windows 7 in my ACER laptop and I tried to install windows 8, It did install the windows files there and before completing the installation it gave me message saying "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error" and later when I reinstalled the windows7 it gave me message saying "On of the disk is NTFS and the name is E: Local Disk" and it scans for the error and did complete the installation. Later when I tried to install the windows 8 in my laptop it gives the same message before completing the installation. Please can any one help me how Do I Fix this IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error to install windows 8, in my Acer Laptop. If any link to a solution please direct me there. Thanks in advance.

Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits
RAM 4GB
HDD : 500 GB

The only solution is to troubleshoot. You can go online and download memtest 86+ and run that and see if the memory is bad. If not then find and download a HDD test. There are many of those online.

If you don't feel comfortable with that then you will need to take it to a local PC shop and have them look at it.

The only solution may to be replace the hardware.
