Hey everyone, i have mediocre knowledge with computers and am looking to build my first pc, i figured the best way to start was choosing a tower, then realized there could be compatibility issues. was hoping i could get a compatibility check with my build choice, this is the list of items that i would like to build my pc with;

Original post Modified, change on Case, PSU, and SSD
update thanks to - thasan1

Case - Aerocool Predator X3
Motherboard - ASUS P9X79 Pro
Processor - AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHZ
Memory - G. skill Ripjaws X Series 2X8GB
VCard - ASUS GTX660
SSD - Corsair Neutron 256GB satai III internal
H.Drive - Seagate Sv 35 2TB
Sound Card - ASUS Xonar DGX audio
Power supply - Corsair AX86 ATX 12v

Im guessing any optical drive, monitor, and OS will be compatible. I also understand the prebuilt cooling system in the case is pretty good, should i bother to upgrade with any extra cooling systems?

Appreciate any feedback!

first off the mobo IS NOT COMPATIBLE!! a suitable mobo for you is Asrock 990FX extreme 4 or 970 extreme 4.

2nd 512GB SSD is a huge overkill and a big waste of money. buy a 128/ 256 GB one and invest more on a GPU like GTX 760 or even a 770/ radeon R9-290 when it arrives.

you also wont need a sound card as integrated are quite good.

as for PSU CM PSU's are know to be unreliable. buy something like Corsair CX 600 or seasonic S12II 620W PSU.
