G-Reaver mouse keeps freezing every few minutes

Hello,
I have a G-Reaver mouse for a few months now and it suddenly started freezing. At first it was only once or twice a day, but now it freezes every minute and also my keyboard is disconnecting now. I am using a dusty 7 year old mouse for Windows XP with no problems and it's not interfering with my keyboard at all. I've tried most of the advice found on the web and even reinstalled my Windows7 2 times with only the minimum drivers needed and the problem persists.
Specs: Intel i5 2500 3.3GHz, 8Gb RAM, Asus GTS450 Graphics card, Asus Sabertooth P67 Rev3 Motherboard.

It's an USB mouse, same as the keyboard. I have never experimented with changing it's polling rate before, and I'd like to try other methods since it's still in warranty. I'd like to rule out all possible software issues until the only theoretical problem left would be a hardware one.

Changing the polling rate doesn't break any warranty, it can easily be changed through the mouse software (it least at my mouse )

It has a middle button near the scroll wheel which is lighted by LED and it's used to change the sensitivity of the mouse, and it also has side lighting, when it freezes I notice the middle button also turning off. The mouse software is unavailable because the official website is corrupted I can't even contact them :(
