Everytime I type in the 192.168.1.1 address, I receivea message "Internet Explorer Cannot Display Webpage". I have tried this several times and it doesn't connect me to the website.
HELP!

Are you trying to connect to your router? Are you sure that is your routers IP? Not all routers use that for the default. Some are 192.168.0.1, some are 192.168.1.2, lots of different defaults. Also, some routers don't allow connection to them over WIFI unless that option is enabled in it, so if you are sure that is your routers IP, are you on WIFI?

It just means there is nothing a this address.

If you want to connect to your router, go to your start menu, type "cmd" then in the command prompt type "ipconfig".
Find your network card (wifi or ethernet depending what you are using) and check the Gateway address.

Then you put this address in your browser to connect to your router.
