You can either attach an Ethernet cable to your router and run it to the AP or you can attach an Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports on the AP and run it to the second AP.
Just give the new AP a different static IP address in the router, and use the same SSID, passkey, but a different non-overlapping radio channel (1, 6, and 11).
