I am looking to buy two monitors LED 22" or 23" (preferably having a really thin bezel) for a dual monitor setup. Mostly to be used for multitasking and work (I work as a software developer) and daily use browsing, maybe some gaming. (I watch most of my movies on my tv however I'd still love to have have nice colours on my monitors)

My friend recommended I get an IPS monitor and so far I have found these two:

http://www.scanmalta.com/eshop/23-dell-s2340l-ips-wide-full-hd-led-monitor.html
(Asus VS239HR or Dell S2340L).

I have seen the Asus, amazing colour, what about the Dell? Are there any other monitor you would suggest (I'd appreciate links from Amazon uk or de or overclockers etc :) ) POSSIBLY having a REALLY THIN Bezel

Specs: HD6970, i7 950 Budget: around $250 for each monitor ($500 both)

Thanks :)

100% on the asus. They are the best 200€ or less monitors out there.
The 22 or 23incher are absolute spot on you will be very please.

Also that is the 23incher, you can probably save a few $$$ and get the 22inch from the same model (if it is avaiable).

I also found the LG 23EA63V-P also 23" and IPS with 10,000,000:1 for the same price.

Which one shall I go for the asus or the LG? (LG is a bit nicer + thin bezel :D)

only drawback - asus 3 years warranty, lg - 2 years

i would still go for the ASUS LG are also nice, but the asus are so reliable it will probably last for years. And the overall quality and colors are slightly better.

But i think deep down it comes down to a preference, so if you like th LG astetics more, its also a good pick.

Thanks again for your reply.

Last question, what about this one:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/23-acer-h236hlbmjd-ips-led-full-hd-slim-bezel-monitor-hdmi-dvi-vga-mhl-1920x1080-250cd-m-100m1-5ms-b

It looks exactly like the Asus model but with a better contrast ration (20M more) or is Asus the better brand for monitors?

Thank you :)
