got new graphics card and not working

I just got my new gtx 650ti boost and placed in my pc, connected pc back up and turned on, when turned on the pc bleeps and i dont know why and does not show anything on screen? Could this be because of my power supply not big enough?

Possibly, or it could be that your bios settings are set to use on board graphics instead.

I have some questions for you:
1.) Did you install the drivers already?
2.) Where do you plug your HDMI or VGA port? On the motherboard or on the Graphics card?
3.) What PSU are you using?

Installed drivers yes first thing i did
HDMI im using and on the graphics card
My psu is 450W DC output

Did you connected the 6 pin pcie power connector to graphics card. Look at the top right of your card , there would be six holes.

yes i did connect it, the bleeps are 1 longish and 2 short ones if that helps out?

If you have a PCIe 1.0 slot, it may not work. If your power supply is not a good one, it may not work. 450 watts should be enough to run a 650 ti boost, but some cheap ones would only run like 300 watt PSUs.

You can also try a BIOS update.
