old Scythe Mugen vs new CPU coolers

I will buy Corsair 550d next week and I have a ASROCK z68 Pro mainboard that has C.C.O. (Combo Cooler Option) and i have on my i5 2500k installed the first Scythe Mugen http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/cpu/024/scinf1000.html . Will this cooler fit into this case? Also I want to overclock my i5 2500k and will it be worth to replace it with any more new 1155 socket cooler?

I have an option to get a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 cooler for 40€.

I coundt find any reviews of coolers that contain the first scythe mugen and the new ones, only Mugen2 rev.b

It should fit, that is a decent sized case. You can find $10 coolers that work better than $50 ones, so if your current one works for you, go for it. Keep in mind it won't do much if you don't have case fans too, intake and outtake.
