Hi ,i had brought the new pc one month back. Yesterday when i restarted my pc,it does not display anything before restarting, my pc working perfectly . When i opened the case of my cpu i found that my cpu fan is not working, but when i connect the cpu fan to another fan connector slot on motherboard it starts working but still no display on my monitor. I throught it was the problem with my motherboard, so i took my motherboard to service center. In service center they told me that my motherboard's cpu pin got damage and they are charging to repair it. It is still in service center. My question is that if my motherboard's cpu pin was damaged , how was my cpu was running from one month and i don't know may be these cpu pin got damage while disconnecting processor from motherboard yesterday.my question is that what is the real problem with my pc . does my processor is damage or this is the problem with my motherboard. If this is the problem with processor then how my CPU fan connector suddenly stops working. Please slove my qwery bcoz i am feeling very frustrated. My pc configuration is below
Intel i5 4670k
Asus b85 plus 4th generation
Kingston 8gb ram 1600mhz
Zotac geforce Gtx 760 2gb
Cooler master 700w power supply
500gb hdd seagate
Samsung dvd writer

Solution
Hi amitseven,

1.As CPU fan is not running your CPU might get caught overheated. CPU fan is must for starting a system otherwise it didn't i anycase.

2.connect a CPU fan only to chasis_fan pin supply given near to CPU only.

3. Its not working bcoz the pin might be getting no power supply get overheated.
