I am facing problem while dual booting chakra os along with windows 7.When I started to create partions for installing chakra os, error message is displaying--"you have reached maximum primary partions limit please remove other primary partions inorder to continue installation".

I have used befor same drive for installing (linux mint 15) it worked for it . But now I plan to remove it and try to install chakra os .

My Hard Disk partion details:-
size :-300gb.
-->partions number: 4;(among them)
-->there are 2primary partions.
-->2nd primary partion is divided into three logical partions.
-->I have used one among them for installing chakra os.
Can any one please help ....

Thanks in advance...

Make sure you have no more that four partitions (primary and extended), and no more than four partitions within the extended partition.

I have a setup like follows:
---- primary NTFS partition (Windows C)
---- primary NTFS partition (Windows D)
---- extended partition
-------- logical ext3 partition (Linux /root)
-------- logical ext3 partition (Linux /home)
-------- logical swap partition (Linux swap)

Incorrect. You can have as many logical partitions as you want within an extended partition.
