I was looking more in-depth at cases that would work for my soon to be build. I was originally looking at the Haf-X, but with Corsair's release of the 750D, it appears that would be a more ideal choice. (Doing overclocking and might do closed-loop cooling) Also, would probably try to fit some Corsair SP120's in either case if I can.
Thanks

I have the HAF-X. Let me tell you that it is HUGE. Everyone that comes by my place, the first thing they say is how massive the case is. I almost think it is too big for most builds.

The ergonomics of the case area a little wacky as well. The side glass scratches VERY easily. I have to take off my watch cause anything metal will scratch it. It is also very difficult to clean. Because of all the little indentations and "ribs" (I guess you can call them) around the whole outside of the case collect dust. They get in the corners and are very difficult to clean out unless you take a q-tip and individually clean each corner. The side panel also wobbles even when both screws are in. The USB ports are also mounted upside down on...

I have the HAF-X and I love it. aside from the huge side fan blowing air onto the side of my crossfire setup...

it also includes an adjustable support bracket to help hold the cards, as well as an optional shroud that attaches to the back of the HDD cage to blow air in between the cards via a 120mm fan.

it's an ideal case for sli/crossfire, as nothign else i've seen can get air flow between the cards this well.

also, the two quick change HDD bays are a nice touch... as I can easily yank out my movie/music drive without opening the case.
The flat black cover that hides all your wires is a nice touch as well....

it can fit a 240mm radiator with push/pull mounted to the top if you go that route... i'm using the 120xl closed loop mounted as intake off the back with push/pull.

I have a very similar computer to your specs, but with 7950 crossfire.

Cable management space behind the motherboard tray is abundant.

buy the HAF x, buy a 3pin fan controller to connect all your fans up to, and get ready to say mulitple times "wow, that was a fantastic solution the created to a typically annoying problem"

This is a big casethough. You'll probably need extensions if you want to route your CPU 8pin and your 24pin mobo power cables up behind the case.

I like the Corsair 750 but how are you supposed to get any air flow with the front fans blocked with that faceplate? Looks as if they should have used a mesh or something that wouldn't inhibit air flow. I am not a fan of the Haf-X at all. Cooler Master needs to redesign this case and get away from the industrial look.

If you watch review there is more than an inch if im correct of room on the sides of the front panel to draw in cool air for those fans

That being said, it is a very solid case. This thing is built like a tank, as heavy as one too. It looks very nice and serves its purpose well. Wire management is made easy through wire routing areas.

Get the HAF-X if you need a huge case with excellent air flow and unlimited potential for upgrades. I am very picky about keeping my station clean, so if you are as picky as I am, I would advise against the HAF-X.

I have the Corsair 800d and a Cooler Master Cosmos II. The Corsair Obsidian series is better suited for water cooling. At least the 750d has intake fans in the front and support for 2 x 140mm fans in the top because neither the 700d or the 800d do but you are still not going to get great air flow with that faceplate in the front. It's just going to clogged with dust just that much faster.
