Hello everyone,
I'd like to know if there's a device to manually control the fans of my new Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo II. Being a complete idiot, I put the wrong fan cable into the graphics card slot (there were 2, three-pin and four-pin, I put the three-pin cable in the four-pin slot) and got a nice yellow flame.
Luckily enough, I harmed only a hard disk (don't know how) and the fan slot on the card, which apart from this is now working very fine.
So I now have attached the fans to the PSU with an adapter, the thing is: I connected them to the 7v output, because 12v was a little too noisy. With maximum load on my GPU I only get 79-78 degrees (which is still a little bit better than what I had with the stock cooler).
I would like to know if it's possible to dynamically control the fans speed, either manually with a knob or via some kind of software. I've looked around a bit but it seems that every fan regulator is designed for "case type" fans, while the GPU cooler has a different, smaller plug.
I hope that I was clear. TIA for all the help.
