computer turns on and off on and off

My HP runs hot...what ever is on screen goes multiple and then diagonal. Must shut down...now when starting up...turns on and off...nothing on screen...totally black...then continues by itself...starts up - shuts right down and will continue until I turn it off...HELP

Try cooling it then.

Go with it to a specialist to clean the dust from it so it will not run HOT.
If it shutdown from heat... allow it to cool half an hour first then try to start it again!
