"It will be free for all owners of 600+ series graphics cards. It was supposed to be released alongside Nvidia Shield in late June 2013, but has been delayed. It was also later planned for release by the end of summer 2013, but the release was silently postponed. On the 20th of September, a Nvidia Forum Representative posted a thread to the Official GeForce Community Forums, Citing that the Delay was due to the Problems they had with Video Formats, and stating that they are planning to start "sharing this new feature with you soon.""

  2. The Xbox One is supposed to have similar capability. I figured Nvidia would beat them to market with this.

  4. as long as the gpu have kepler core then yes. some low end 600 series are still based on Fermi like GT630
  5. I'm doubting the October 28 release date...
  6. Well last time they don't even give specific launch date for shadow play. Personally i think we can count on the 28th release date. Nvidia even showing working softwares during the event at montreal last week. They demoed shadow play running splinter cell blacklist and stream the gameplay directly on twitch. It seems that twitch will be integrated to GFE together with shadowplay.

650m has kepler so that means it will work?
  8. maybe. nvidia only mention you need at least GTX650 on the dekstop side but some of GT640 also kepler based but it seems it might not work with shadow play. no mention of mobile gpu. but if shadow play follow the requirement of shield streaming then the lowest mobile gpu supported will be GTX660m
  9. They released ShadowPlay Beta with today's driver release.
  10. IT IS ONLY DESKTOP ;(
  11. It is working flawlessly for me barely any impact on framerates. Around 2.5GB for a 5-minute video file at 1080p and 60fps. I'm going to need some more storage...
