  1. I would go with the Asus just because I have seen strange issues with that Gigabyte board in here lately.

The rev 4.0 of the UD3 is good, but problem is if you purchase it and the supplier pulls a fast one and tries to ship you a rev 1.0, 1.1 or 3.0 of that board it will not work well.

The rev 4.0 had major upgrades to the VRU and cooling compunents. It can support up to the FX 9590 4.7/5.0 GHz CPU so overclocking the FX 8350 on it will be nice. Previous revisions not so much.

A UD5 or UD7 would be better. But for that price range, an Asus Sabertooth would really be best.
  3. What is your budget for the motherboard? Personally I don't like any of those two, maybe the Gigabyte since can give you a little more of settings for overclock and have better phase power regulation.
