Hey guys i have seen some benchmarks but haven't really found any solid answers yet, how is the scaling in BF3 running 5760x1080 with two gtx 680 4gb vs three gtx 680 4gb. Also, im not sure if its just a BF4 beta problem, but im getting much lower fps on lower quality then i was in BF3. Any answers appreciated!

Solution
1) You aren't going to get that much of an improvement with tri-sli. This has always been the case in any game, and will likely continue to be that way for quite a while.

2) Battlefield 4 is built on an entirely new, much more intense, engine. Beta drivers aside, of COURSE you're not going to be able to run it with the same settings - it's two and a half YEARS newer.

Alright thanks, i didn't realize it was so old i just started playing about 8 months ago. So when i upgrade my graphics, you would recommend getting a new card instead of a third?

That's correct. For both SLI and crossfire setups, adding a third card is really not that helpful - it makes the frame pacing smoother, but that's not worth $400, and 670s / 680s are starting to get hard to find.

I would upgrade to Maxwell when it comes out.
