Hello everyone.

I recently bought a MSI Z87-G43 Motherboard so that it can support my new i5-4670K processor, but I guess I didn't do enough research about if it will support everything else of mine, so I just want to see if you guys can also see if it supports everything I'm getting/got.

HAF 922 Case (I want it to be able to handle all of the fan controls, LEDs, and Front Panel USB and audio ports)
Intel i5-4670K
Sapphire HD 7950 3GB OC GPU
Corsair CX600 600W PSU
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM
SanDisk Extreme 240GB SSD SATA 6 Gb/s
1TB WD HDD
*Future multiple HDD installations

I'm pretty sure that it can, but I just want to make sure from some experts, as I saw on a review that it didn't have a lot of ports for various things. Thank you!

Solution

It comes with 6 SATA ports which should be enough.

My only problem is that my case does not have a front panel USB 3 port but the MB does. Front USB 2 ports work fine as does front audio. I haven't tried a mic on the front yet.

OP already has the board.

It will be just fine and the MSI qc is good and designs are great. Having used both MSI and ASUS boards recently I can say that MSI boards are by far better than the ASUS offerings in both quality and performance/features to price.

Sounded like just got it, sorry, was thinking return, exchange time frame...mentioned because while I don't build on them, I have more problem calls with MSI mobos than any 2 other manufacturers put together, DOAs, and often failures of USB, SATA, ethernet ports, DRAM slots, etc within 30-60 days of purchase

I have that same MB/CPU combo (details in my sig). I can't see any problems with the system that you have proposed. I am very happy with the MSI Z87-G43!

Alright, because I was looking at a Review online somewhere earlier saying that they ran out of SATA ports and that they weren't able to connect their front panel inputs to the motherboard. I just wanted to make sure that the motherboard would be able to power and supply everything.

So it should be able to handle the USBs and audio in and out on the front panel?

Well you are correct in your assumption. I actually don't even have it quite yet, as it is still shipping haha.
