I have an EVGA Geforce GTX 660 Ti FTW Signature 2 and as you all know, the 660 ti is falling more and more behind as of late. I decided to get another one to do SLI but it seems to be discontinued. The only one I could find was a used one on Amazon and I don't really want to buy any key components used.

Anyway, is it possible to pair it up with a different gtx 660 ti like an Asus or MSI? Which one would be best? Also, is it even worth the trouble? I don't have the greatest cooling and my PSU is only 620Watts. What should I do?

Solution

With that MB and PSU, you should be good to go.

Possibly. I have looking in to that as I have a GTX 680 Signature that was discontinued. I think it just has to be the same GPU and the manufacturer probably dosen't matter. Having said that, I have seen ati / Amd cards used as the primary card, with an Nivida card installed for the PhysX.

Forgot to mention that. I have an Azrock Z77 Extreme 4. My PSU is a bronze 620watt seasonic. Come to think of it, I should check if my case even has space for sli.
