So I thought I'd be upgrading an old PC for this, but it pooped out on me. Looks like I'm building my own, but would love some input on what parts to get.
Approximate Purchase Date: Hopefully January or sooner
Budget Range: $600 or less after all rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming primarily, some downloading and photo editing
Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: no preference
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: by brand or type: No preference
Overclocking: Honestly, no clue. So I suppose no preference?
Additional Comments: Since this will be used primarily for gaming, it would be great if I could start off playing at high settings without worrying about lag. I know for a $600 budget I won't get a whole lot, but when I have more disposable income I will likely upgrade a few select parts to get a better performance.
