Hello, I have recently built a new computer, and i have built many in the past, but this is the first time ive had this issue.

I shut my computer down for the night. Go to work the next day, come home and crank it up.

Now I go to play for example battlefield 4. The night before i was getting 120 FPS, now the next day I barely hit 20-30 FPS. I reboot my system and viola! back up to 120 fps for the rest of the day until I shutdown for the night and the process starts all over again.

I have windows 7 Pro 64 bit
16gigs of ram
AMD FX 9370
Radeon HD 7950
750w power supply

I wonder if the PSU being cold is causing it to not be sending enough power to your graphics card.

my only Idea is that your not shutting it down correctly, but when you restart (after work) it, it is shutting down correctly.

Yup I'm properly shutting down, no errors, when I restart it after work it shuts down and boots up perfectly fine. This has me absolutely stumped. Ive never encountered this before.
