Someone on another thread mentioned this too me, but I didn't want to get off topic there so I'm posting this question here.
would 2 660s in SLI be outplayed by a single 7950? My displays are 2 24" 1080p however I will only be actually playing games on a single monitor, while the other is just for web use and streaming videos, not all that intensive stuff basically.
Right now this is my setup:
CPU i5-2400 (switching to 3570k at end of month)
EVGA GTX 660 SC edition
MSI Z77A-G45
8GB G-Skill Sniper Series RAM (2133Mhz)
The main reason I ask is because I'm not sure how the SLI performance truly works, vs just single card performance.
