Try THIS:

1) START
2) type "msconfig" (no quotes)
3) boot
4) advanced options
5) uncheck "number of processors" and "maximum memory"
6) OK
7) REBOOT PC

I hope that works.

They were both unchecked, for fun I checked Memory as it seems to have 8 GB in that field, booted, still only 4 usable ): Any other tricks?
Thanks!

The RAM DIMMs may not be seated properly, try re-seating the DIMMs.
