I am looking into either building my own desktop for about $650-$700. Can anyone please suggest parts? I would mostly use for games like Minecraft and Cube World.

On a scale of 1-10, (1 being basic performance, 10 being extreme) about how well would that perform?

if you got a 760 which is about $250 then it would an 7 or 8 for more intense games. But for like minecraft, tekkit, and cubeworld it would be about a 9 or 10. It really depends. It could probaly run BF3 on ultra no anti aliasing at a good FPS. For the money its pretty good.

the amd cpu wont be as fast as the newer intel i5 but it leaves you more money for a better gpu.
