Hey guys and gals. My build has had it's ups and downs, tons of money poured into it and problem after problem it's slowly getting there. As of now everything is coming along well except for one thing: no matter what I do my CPU reaches burning temperatures. I have a CM Storm Trooper Case with a Hyper 212 Evo with push/pull set up. My idle temps are 22-26c but when I run prime95 my temperatures will reach as high as 80c. I've reseated the heatsink, switched out fans, adjusted fan settings, rerouted airflow, and tried different thermal pastes with most commonly used techniques. As of now I'm using the line method to apply it and prime95 is running and temps are staying around 80c. Any thoughts or ideas on what may be causing the temps to be so..temperamental. Also this is at stock speeds of 3.4, nothing overclocked

Solution
Try making one fan exhaust one intake, but it doesn't make sense for it to be that hot with that many fans. Maybe try more powerful ones or water cooling.

The front and side fans are acting as intakes while the top and rear and exhaust. No matter what I do this CPU will not stay cool, maybe a bad batch? Ihad a Corsair H55 on there before and my temperatures were higher than theyare now idling. Maybe an h100i or h110 is what I need?
