ASROCK 990FX extreme3 with AMD FX8320 CPU

with CPU, 8gig memory and video card installed I get three long beeps but no video and no evidence of POST. What is my problem?

The three beeps are the result of the POST. It is telling you something is wrong. Probably your RAM. Try booting the system with the CPU, video card and only one ram stick installed. If that doesn't work try a different RAM stick until you figure out which stick is bad. Good luck!

I have tried each stick in each slot with the same results. I did try the RAM in a different computer and it worked fine there.

Have you tried clearing CMOS ?
