Let me start off by saying that this was my first attempt to replace my power supply. So I replaced my Graphics Card and My Power Supply this evening and now my PC does not work what so ever. My current Build:
Motherboard: MSI X79A-GD45 Plus Intel X79 Chipset Quad Channel DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ Winki 3, OC Genie II, 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, 3 Gen3 PCIe X16 & 4 PCIe X1
Graphics card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 DUAL SuperClocked 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card 02G-P4-2776-KR
Power Supply: COOLER MASTER Silent Pro Gold Series RSC00-80GAD3-US 1200W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU
Processor: i7-3820 Quad-Core 3.60 GHz 10MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011
So this is my build after I replaced the parts, let me just repeat that i only replaced the Graphics card and the Power Supply. Since I do not know too much about building computers I do not know what could have gone wrong, maybe I knocked something loose and did not realize, Maybe the parts are faulty, or maybe they are not compatible. So the title of this post says it all, everytime i turn the PC on I only get about 5 mins max before the whole comp shuts down. any help or advice would be appreciated thank you very much for reading. O ya and i have had the PC since May and have had no problems till I attempted to replace the parts.
