I have updated the drivers for my 660ti 3gb card and used nvidia software to optimize the card for my screen (LG 21:9).
I set the in-game resolution to 2560x1080 but I still get the black bars when in-game. My desktop screen works fine however at the 21:9 resolution.
I also made sure to use the included dual link dvi cable on the dual link port of my gpu although I tried both dvi ports to be safe, but nothing has worked.
I'm not sure what simple thing I'm missing.
The only thing I have not found is a manual scaling option on my nvidia software in case that is the problem...
