Hi everyone, I am here to ask if the components that I chose are good enough for what I want out of my system.
I want to be able to hit my 144hz monitor's limit (ASUS VG278HE). I am open for suggestion on how to better my build. I am going to list all the items I chose below.
Case(Corsair Air 540)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139022
Motherboard (Asus Maximums vi Extreme) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131974
CPU (Intel 4770k)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx? Item=N82E16819116901
RAM (Corsair Dominator Platinum) -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233305
GPUs (Asus gtx 770 SLI)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121770
PSU (corsair RM 1000w)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139057&Tpk=corsair%20rm%201000
SSD (Intel 520 Cherryville 120gb)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167093
HDD (Western Digital Black 2TB)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136792
Case fans ( Corsair SP 120mm Quite Edition)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181025
CPU Cooler (Corsair H100i)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181032

I will also be overclocking the GPUs and possibly the CPU to around 4.0ghz or 4.2ghz.

Solution
770 SLI is about the same performance as one HD 7990. The 770's may do better in one game, and the 7990 in another. However, if you get 2x 770s, thats the most power you will get. If you get a 7990, that still has the option to Crossfire the 7990, and get WAY more performance over the 770s
Get a Radeon HD 7990 instead of the 770 SLI. While 1 7990 is not quite as powerful as 2x 770's, One 7990 is a bit cheaper, and then opens up a Crossfire window for the future, where 2x 7990's will blow 2x 770's out of the water. You also don't need a 1000w PSU unless you will be OC'ing all your components.

I am only overclocking the GPUs and the CPU. Also are you sure the 7990 is going to really beat the 770s?

If I'm not mistaken the 7990 takes about 350w and if I overclock it and get a second card and overclock it how many watts is that going to be? Like I stated before I will be overclocking the CPU, 8 sp120mm fans will be in the system aswell. I will admit I have pretty much NO idea about watts. So I would like to get a rough estimate to right on the dot, of which PSU I should purchase.
