I hate to say this but you probably paid way too much. A 330w psu is pathetic and that graphics card is 2 generations old. With a little effort, you probably could build yourself a better system for the same price, if not for less

It should handle any 1150 processor without an issue...but if you have money to upgrade, go for a different GPU. The 4430 will handle pretty much any modern graphics card in a single GPU configuration with no performance decrease. The 560ti is getting pretty old, and you would see much more of a performance increase with a new GPU. However, a 330w PSU is VERY low, especially since it likely isn't 80+ certified.

Thats what i tho it would support all new chip with 1150 socket. I read the spef booklet on dellwebsite. And it only has the i5-4430 and i7/4770. Is tjat the only 2 the alienware will support. I woulda liked the i5-4670. Bit i dont know if it will support it. Anyeay. My service tag number is : 25NM9Y1 for dell mayb that will heps you guys out mote. Im kinda noonish when it comes to this stuff. Thanks to everyone that can help. :) and I only paid $300 us dollars so I think I got a deal, but not worried bout that

so is it I can only upgrade to i7-4770? that's all I see on the spec list I woulds liked to go with i5-4670 but don't know if I can ?

$300 is pretty cheap, 560ti is better than the 645, I would not run a 760 with a 330w PSU. You would be much safer going with one like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

The alienware x51 r2 does not have that kimda psu. Sorta like an external psu. And they only have the 240 watt and the 330 watt which can handle up to the gtx 760 they say
