I've been playing an online game recently and have noticed at times my ping would go from the usual 100-190 range(good) but it jumps to over 500 and even higher than 1000. Also when streaming online sports(NHL Gamecenter Live) it freezes and I rarely get HD quality and get very frequent quality drops(to a terrible, terrible quality) I got fed up and started streaming the game from the app on my apple TV and got HD quality throughout the rest of the game on that device and the quality only dropped twice but got back to HD after a few seconds. So I figured the poor connection are limited to my PC only and have nothing to do with my ISP. How can I fix my connection on my PC?

PC internet connection slow and glitchy

Wireless, probably 4 other devices accessing the wireless at once. I'm going to try a wired connection tonight to see if it is my router. Unfortunatly I can't get alot of the specs on my PC because i am at work and not on the PC in question is at home. But it should not be the amount of devices because like I said the stream worked perfect on the AppleTV which would have been a 5th device because it is not normally on.
