Is my video card good enough for BF4

Solution

Then expect to average around 40 fps due to your CPU limiting you, if your motherboard supports the 8350 that would be the most economical route for better performance, otherwise jumping to intel might be a good idea.

Running on high is iffy. It will run smoothly for the most part, but when levelution occurs, you will probably have some framerate issues. That's what happens with my 650Ti Boost. Also, I have an i5 4670K so you can compare yours to that to figure out if it would run!

One more thing - The game even on Medium looks fantastic. Medium to High on 1920x1080 isn't a huge difference.

I don't think you'll have a problem, the recommended requirements for BF4 is like a GTX 660 or a 7870 I believe. My wife's rig has a 660 ti in it and runs BF4 on high no probem. No frame rate drops during levolution either.

8350 or 9370 and your gpu is fine the recommended gpu is a 7870 you should be able to play ultra! the beta was very unoptimised so thats why everyone is worried about there gpu imo you should be able to max it out except maybe AA my suggestion would be hold on to your 7970 then decide to upgrade! your cpu is also the recommended cpu but thats one thing i would actually upgrade!

You can crossfire your 7970 with a 280x because it is the same card. Doing it that way should save you some money instead of buying two 280x.
