Hello guys,

I just setup the system with i7-4820K and the R4G. Spec as below.
mobo - R4G
proc - i7-4820k
cooler - H100i
RAM - dominator 8Gb
PSU - Corsair GS700
GC - HD7850

Situation:
I already update the bios by USB flash BIOS with .ROM to .CAP converter.
Flash working, then when I want to update to latest .CAP bios version.
The flash is not working. After the ROG connect button blinking 5 times, nothing progress.

I try to start up the system. Just when the system to boot for a second, its go down back for a 2-3 seconds then it try to boot again then down again, like not enough power.

And may I know, after flash BIOS with the .ROM to .CAP converter, is it I need to flash with the latest .CAP version after that?

Can someone help me to explain what is going on and what i need to do.
Your help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advanced.

Solution
You can order a BIOS chip (from ebay or ASUS eStore, if in US) and replace the board's one, or try again the CAP converter flashing.
Make sure that the USB drive is FAT formatted. For the CAP converter rename the file to .ROM and then for the latest BIOS file rename to .CAP

i7 4930k
Asus Rampage IV Gene
EVGA GTX Titan (on the way)
32gb G.Skill Ripjawss Z 2133mhz CL9
SSD Samsung EVO 500gb
HD Seagate 3tb
Corsair CX750M
EK Watercooler Kit
Cooler Master Silencio 352

I need the latest update so it can recognize the new processor.

The bios version on the board is 1005, so I did the first part converting from .ROM to .CAP, it went fine I guess, and then I downloaded the latest version with the 4930k support, but when I try to flash, it happens the same... Blinks 5 times and stops... No light, nothing...
