A company that I do some work for has a monitor that will occasionally freeze two thirds of the way up the screen and begin to invert the colors below that line. This isn't a crippling issue, as restarting the computer attached to it will usually solve the problem for a while. This made me think it was a graphics card issue, but when I tried the monitor both on the integrated graphics for that machine and on a separate machine altogether, I still got the same problem. I really doubt that all of those are causing the exact same issue, so is it possible that the monitor is the culprit? If so, can it be repaired, or am I doomed to reboot this person's computer every once in a while?
