Mixing 2 sets of RAM same CAS size/Latency/voltage/speed, slightly different timing

I want to buy this

DDR2 800 (G.Skill NT DDR2 2 GB (1 x 2 GB) PC RAM (F2-6400CL5S-2GBNT))
Timing 5-5-5-15
Cas Latency 5
Voltage 1.8V

will it interfere with my current

DDR2 800 (XMS2 — 2GB DDR2 Memory (CM2X2048-6400C5))
Timing 5-5-5-18
Cas Latency 5
Voltage 1.8V

Or will I have to go with only 1 of these sets.

More about mixing sets ram cas size latency voltage speed slightly timing
  1. They might well play together, no guarantees of course, if you try and have problems give me a shout

Thanks Tradesman1, i am ordering it now. I will update here once i get it.
Also, do i need to change anything in BIOS, RAM settings-wise, before i stick it in?

I'd just put them in and see, if a problem, let me know what timings and DRAM voltage shows in the BIOS
  4. I have put it in about an hour ago, i didn't face any problems.
    Thanks, Tradesman1.
  5. Glad to hear, if anything crops up, with those generally a slight voltage increase to DRAM voltage will smooth it out, like about + 0.05.......May want to close the thread ;)
