'Stock cooler'

I recently OC my cpu from 3.1ghz - 4.0ghz.

My CPU hits around 50-60c under load and it hit 67c under 4 hours of Prime95 Stress testing.
My northbridge is around 50c idle and like 75-80c under load.

This is my first overclock, and after running a 4 hour stress test, I would say it was stable enough for now, until I can do a 8hour + on the weekend. Some people say 80c is fine for the NB others say it is dangerous and WILL harm my pc. I am using a stock cooler

Are these temperatures too hot? I really have no option to currently buy any new heatsink / fans yet. So would you recommend just removing the overclock? Or do you think these temps are nothing to worry about? It gives a huge performance in gaming which Is why I want to keep it, but not if my computer is going to blow up :p. Thank you :)

Some people say 80c is fine, other's i've seen say it is terrible and far too high and can damage your system. Hope to hear from you soon.

Using CoreTemp / HW Monitor to watch temps.

So 80c is nothing to worry about? It will not make my PC like blow up? My PC is around 7months old, what kind of lifetime am I looking at for these temps? And what about the CPU? Also thanks for the quick response!

You dont have to worry about that temperatures.
