Im doing my first build, and, when i poweron the pc, nothing shows on the screen.
Here is the parts im using,
Amd fx 6300 black edition
Radeon hd 7950
GEiL enhance corsa ddr3(2x4gb)
Asus m5a97 r2.0
Seagate 1000gb harddrive
Xfx pro 550w
When i power it on, all fans come on, but nothing appears on the screen. I currently have 2 leads connecting to the motherboard, and 2 to the graphics card. Both are the same shape/type, but one of the cables says PCI E, while the other is blank. I have tried moving the graphics card to a different slot, tried moving the ram to different slots, and also tried using a different monitor (It was a tv). Nothing happens on any of these. If anyone could offer any advice on what i could do, i would much appreciate it. Im starting to think that one of the parts may be dead
