Hey all I've been planning a new PC build for close to two months now and with all the new AMD hype right now it's making me second guess myself. I wanted to order it on the 18th, but with the wait on 290x release/price/gtx pricedrops. I think it maybe best to hold off a little. My plan has been on going with the Asus gtx780duoc2 (priced at $699cdn), and maybe SLI it a couple months down the road. Anyways thx for the read and here is the PC specs, as well at my needs....
4770K
Asus Max Hero 16gb 1866
SSD, Black Storage...etc
- I would like to play max visual quality and speed @ 1080p. I already have 2 1080p max res 120hz monitors I can't see upgrading anytime in the near future. Maybeeee....upgrade to Surround (would require 2 as both are different sizes), but that is a slight maybe.
- Support 2 monitors (1 game, 1 OS)
- I would like this to last at least a couple years for latest games. Saying that what I've been wondering is if a 7990, which Is cheaper then the 780 I planned, would be the better way to go? Or of course depending on the price of the 290x, or even duel 280x's? The options are pretty much now endless, but at the longest I'd to get this ordered within 2-3 weeks.
Also I want to stay <$700
