Is Cooler master V8 good for the price its presenting?

I already bought my mobo and gpu and am wondering if the CMv8 is good for the price or if i should go to a different CM fan or a totally different brand.
mobo: z87 deluxe
gpu: gtx780
Core:i54670k
Memory:Crucial ballistix sport XT
everything else is unknown ATM.

Depends on your OC goals, I got the V* for my 4770K as the 212 EVO was good to about 4.4 but I wanted a higher OC and I run 24/7, it cools about 10-12 degrees cooler than the EVO at 4.6, I'm very pleased with it
