Refurbished vs Used GT 640?

I'm on a very tight budget and I want the GT 640. The refurbished version costs much less than the used version, and both sellers have good reviews. Which one do you think is more reliable?

Also, will I still be eligible for the 20 dollar rebate if I buy the card used or refurbished from the same listing?

I have got refurb parts before and have not had any problems with them. That said make sure they come with a good warranty and you should be fine. As for a rebate that is something you will have to check into.

The used card has been pulled out, cleaned up ( if necessary and boxed ) and that is it. The refurbished card has had something replaced so would almost be like new. I have bought refurb Computers in the past that turned out to be great. I have a laptop here now that was a refurb and it has been going great for a long time.

Do NOT buy used PC parts. I'm sorry but that is just my advice to you.

I've been waiting for the 7750 for months, but the 640 while being a little slower comes with benefits, such as the rebate and extra low price which will allow me to get a new case/psu and some ram.
