My nephew has a Dell Optiplex 380 mid-tower, which takes a standard sized PSU... which is nice for a change.

It has a 255w power supply right now, and I have a 430w PSU sitting here collecting dust, however, when I looked, it seems his motherboard uses a 24-pin PSU plug, and my PSU is the older 20-pin model.

My PSU if use in his DELL, will have more than enough spare 4-pin molex plugs... is there an adapter that I can get cheap?

It has a small fanless HD5450 video card, we wanted to add another 2Gb ram, eventually an Intel Q9550 Quad Core, and a bigger video card so, wanted to give the system the much needed power upgrade. Thanks.

Ah even better... was expecting a molex->4pin to add on those extra pins... something like this would work pretty good, and money saved can go towards a video card. Thanks.

I've heard most boards only need the 20, but, can't find info to confirm if the Dell does/doesn't... would hate to rip it all apart and find out it needs the adapter, then have to swap everything back, wait for the adapter, then re-rip it all apart again. :D

EDIT - Even better, eBay for $1.50... if you don't mind a 3-4 week wait. :D
