Ok here is my problem. I have an HDD and a windows 7 os installed on it. When turn on my computer, windows7 crashes on splash screen and then restarts. I unplugged my hdd and connected it to another pc and then windows loads perfectly, so i know there is no issue with the os itself or the hdd, the problem must be hardware on the first pc. I've heard that "bios flashing" could possibly help? is this true, any suggestions?

when you say you have a hard drive with win 7 installed on it, is it out of the computer in question or was it installed on another computer? that almost never works.if the os on the hard drive wasnt installed in your computer you will have to do a fresh install.
